I would like to introduce you to my family; the value's instilled in me by my parents and my philosophy and what I stand for.

 

Both my wife Vicky and I were born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Yes, we're Yoppers). We have four children ages 9 to 15. These kids are our pride and joy. Yes, they keep us busy but we would not have it any other way. They enjoy learning what Mom and Dad do for a living and are a constant reminder of why we work so hard for our clients. Namely, treat all people with respect and love and you will be successful.

 

I come from a family of six children. Our parents instilled in us the value of doing something you love and doing it well. Keeping in mind that it is not the amount of money you make but rather the people you touch along the way. Not surprisingly, this has led to four of the six of us to own our own businesses.

 

I started my Real Estate Career in my early twenties. I then went on to own and operate several businesses. I spent 15 years in the industrial controls industry. Where I worked with engineers negotiating contracts with fortune 500 companies such as Ford, Chrysler, GM, Kimberly Clark to name a few. I owned and operated a 65,000 square foot shopping facility. My wife has owned a Graphic Arts business for the past fifteen years. Though we found these businesses to be rewarding there was something missing. We did not find the reward of feeling like we were helping people on a personal level. We found that again when we started Beckman Properties. It's not the financial reward you get when you complete a sale but rather the hug you get from your client with a tear in their eye that assures us we are truly doing what we should be doing.

 

My business philosophy is simple. Treat all people like family and you will always be making the right decision. We ask ourselves, "If this was your mother, how would you handle this situation?" I hold myself, my agents and staff to very high standards. Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Loyalty are the words we live by.

 

Finally, Everyone at Beckman Properties knows that in today's real estate market it takes more than old school marketing to get the job done. A sign in the yard and a MLS listing will not get a majority of our clients homes sold. It takes innovative thinking and out of the box marketing technique's. Let me take a minute to introduce myself and tell you a little about who I am and what I do for Beckman Properties.

 

I have lived in the Fox Valley all of my life raising children in this wonderful area we call home. I have owned and operated businesses in and out of my home for several years and know what it takes for a business to be successful.

 

I work mostly behind the scenes, helping our agents keep track of the status of client transactions, schedulings, closings, phone calls, client updates, day to day operations, and doing bookkeeping work.

 

I work as a real estate professional because I have a genuine passion for real estate and for assisting people who are in the midst of a hugely important and complicated process. I love my job and I can't think of a more rewarding profession.

Hello, my Name is Kris Armstrong.  I reside with my husband of 24 years and our 4 children ages 16-23 in Appleton, where we have lived almost all of our lives.  We have enjoyed watching our children particpate in hockey, swimming and bowling.
